Hardwood floor - help!? - is there a problem with wooden window trim for shower area
Hello ... My husband and I recently moved into a new house. We love almost every aspect / function of it, next to the carpet. We decided to replace it with hardwood floors, but we have (a problem in the central area "was the one you see when you walk) to the landing outside, both with wooden poles. It is also the seat in the room / door / window the same wood as the staircase / landing, which is more brown / orange color. It is not the color I want for my plants ... I prefer either a wood much lighter or much darker. I had opinions and suggestions on the existing Wood Stain to the bottom line, if I go with a dark wood .... but if not (as I am, some lighter) What would you like a wood tone of civility, myStory? Please help!

I want to use the existing wood trim accents on the floor and do not match. Go to the local wood shop and find the floor, then check the color on the floor a dark color that goes very well to come together.
At this point I have a wall of mahogany cradle Wynne. The upholstery is in light oak. These two colors perfectly balanced.
Wooden surfaces are often free, unless they close in color. If there is play, not you, I assure you, and make his attempt to make things worse. You can not over existing wood, without a lot of work, assuming you want to do well.
Go with the lighter ground, and I bet you like how the darker setting the same.
Paint the rest of white wood with a matte finish and it will stand your wood floors and look cleaner
